Public Art Wall and Afterparty – Ridley Road

Come to Ridley Road Market to see #SaveRidleyRoad’s Public Art Wall and Resistance Timeline charting five years of #SaveRidleyRoad and market traders’ battle to save their shops and community. They have successfully resisted redevelopment of the Shopping Village as luxury flats and offices.

The Public Art Wall will be on display all weekend at 51- 63 Ridley Road.

#SaveRidleyRoad prints and posters will be available from shops in the Indoor Market for donations to the campaign.

On Sunday, from 6-10 PM, #SaveRidleyRoad will also be hosting an Afterparty for artists and visitors. There will be screenings and Q&A of the films ‘Ridley Road 2020 – A Market Under Threat’ and “The Shopping Village 2022 – traders fight for their livelihoods” at the Ridley Road Market Bar, 49 Ridley Road. Everyone is welcome. Join us!
