In my art I am seeking to develop my own visual language with an emphasis on blocks of colour, strong geometric shapes, and contrasting patterns and textures. Most of my pictures are landscapes with a focus on simplifying composition. I am interested in underlying issues and context in society, including climate change, the environment, development and our neighbourhoods. I often draw inspiration from local scenes. I focus on screenprint and linocut which fit well with my approach. I am the founder of East London Printmakers.
