Becky Baur is currently based in Hackney. She studied BA Fine Art at Brighton and worked for over 25 years as a textile designer and illustrator. Her work has been exhibited in galleries and shops worldwide and has several children’s books published with Thames and Hudson, Simon and Schuster, Editions Amaterra and Story Cat Korea.
In 2020, Becky returned to painting primarily focussing on landscapes depicting bodies of water juxtaposed to manmade surroundings. She works primarily in Acrylics and has exhibited solo at London Fields Lido, Park rd Lido and Parliament Hill Lido. She is part of South East Arts and has had work exhibited at Linden Hall Gallery in Deal, Finch Café Hackney, and BCMA Gallery Berlin.
