Amy’s work focuses predominantly on motherhood and the lives of women, from personal projects exploring themes around motherhood to documenting pregnancy, birth and beyond for private clients. Fields Photography was born from the conflict that arises when motherhood meets the world of work, and social activism and representation are often important aspects of projects and commissions that she works on. Other projects include running creativity workshops for female photographers, drawing on 15 years experience working as a teacher in state secondary schools. Her work is heavily influenced by nature and she embraces working in the outdoors whatever the weather.
