Amanda Taylor

Linocuts, wood engravings and greetings cards

Amanda has been printmaking for the last 20 years, producing wood engravings, collagraphs and linocuts either on her small press at home in Hackney or at the East London printmakers studio in Mile End. She finds time to do this when not working in her busy NHS job.

She is inspired by the natural world to produce floral and landscapes in lino, she likes to capture the character of dogs in wood engraving and experiments with more textural pieces in her collagraphs.

She has been teaching collagraphs at East London printmakers for the last 15 years and enjoys doing demonstrations about the printmaking process at galleries or shows.

She has exhibited in a number of galleries including the Bankside gallery, the Royal Academy Summer exhibition in 2023, the Royal Academy of West England in 2024 and is an elected member of the Society of Wood Engravers.

Emma Nisse

Textiles & print

I make homeware & gifty-things out of old textiles, mainly mid-20th century. I love the prints, and think they deserve an extra life, rather than design and produce yet more new stuff. I’ve also been experimenting with print and collage using ephemera from the same era so hopefully I’ll have some cards/artwork/stationery to display by then as well.

Stella Morgan

Original prints, etching and monoprints

Stella Morgan’s printmaking focuses on etchings, stencils and monoprints. She uses direct observational drawing from life, personal photos or found images/materials to create works that sometimes become imaginary spaces, involving an abstraction and interest in texture and colour.

She has exhibited and sold work in a number of group shows and art fairs. She won an award from the London Centre for Book Arts in 2019.

Kate Bradbury

Art

I am self-taught. I created pen and ink drawings inspired by my imagination and by the environments in which i find myself. I make sculptures and assemblages from found objects, employing both the products of nature and the discarded detritus of city life. Examples of my work can also be seen on the ‘Jennifer Lauren Gallery’ website.
